Moodtalk successfully concludes financing round

After a successful test phase of the cloud-based organizational and team development platform, Moodtalk went live in January 2022. Today, over 150 teams from well-known companies such as CSS Insurance, Axpo and Psychiatric Services Aargau are already using Moodtalk.

In order to continue our mission with speed and the highest quality, we have successfully completed a seed round of just under 1 million Swiss francs. The round is led by the Schwyzer Kantonalbank Innovation Foundation with further participation from angel investors such as David Studer, founder of Xovis, Hans C. Werner, former head of HR at Swisscom, Beat Fellmann, CFO at Valora, Melanie Gabriel, co-founder of Yokoy and Daniel Heller, partner at Farner Consulting.

The system for corporate culture 4.0

Our mission is to optimize collaboration in teams by using the latest technologies and user-friendly software and to develop the system for corporate culture 4.0.

The three founders of Moodtalk have recognized from their former employers that the working world is changing radically and that collaboration and culture in companies must be rethought in order to be competitive in the future. The increasing shortage of skilled workers, economic pressure for efficiency and the digital revolution are putting companies in a situation in which the system of cooperation must be redefined. Collaboration topics must be addressed at an early stage and solutions implemented immediately and directly within the teams in order to be sustainably successful as a company and to promote social sustainability in the workplace.

Moodtalk ensures that in times of change, teams regularly discuss in a structured meeting how they can work together optimally as a team and interpret the organization's values, principles and strategy and implement them in everyday life. Thanks to the clarity and focus gained, the Moodtalk software guides the teams in implementing suitable solutions and integrates them directly into everyday work. Moodtalk's software supplements human exchange with the necessary structure, shares solutions and inspirations, and makes behavioral changes in cultural transformations and strategy implementation processes measurable.

In contrast to conventional solutions, our technology simplifies the change process for all employees in the company by enabling employees to recognize and address the challenges of change in the team at an early stage and immediately implement appropriate solutions within the team. Moodtalk reduces the time between identifying and solving team challenges by a factor of 10 and increases employee satisfaction and retention by more than 30 percent. Moodtalk also efficiently measures how the behavioral change is implemented as part of a cultural transformation and strategy adjustment and does this in real time to company management and the HR team transparent in order to be able to act at an early stage and ensure the success of transformations.

Having the Schwyzer Kantonalbank Innovation Foundation as lead investor and renowned entrepreneurs and leaders as investors is a strong signal of the urgency of the problem and the market's interest in developing a digital system for corporate culture 4.0. “With an innovative solution, Moodtalk bridges an important gap between problem identification and solution implementation in teams and entire organizations and ensures that topics can be addressed directly within the team and that challenges in change processes can be addressed immediately,” says Markus Oswald, CEO of the Schwyzer Cantonal Bank Innovation Foundation.
